Free Microcontroller Workshop - Farmingdale, NY
The NSF Advanced Technology Education (ATE) program is funding ARM microprocessor workshops across the country. The next two are in NY and WA.
The introductory ARM workshop assumes the attendee knows some C code and benefits if they have ever worked with microprocessors in the past. By the time they are done, the attendee has the ARM board and daughter card, knows where to get the free software and can do basic circuits such as I2C and UARTs. ARMs are an amazing microcontroller. They provide an lifelong learning platform with potential for limitless projects.
